A predatory claims culture harms consumers, employers and Britain.

Litigation is extremely expensive for all concerned. Consumers pay for their lawyers via deductions to their settlements and damages awards, even under “no-win/no-fee” arrangements. The only beneficiaries are the lawyers and litigation funders.

We must shine a light on funders benefitting from these class action suits, profiteering off the back of people’s struggles.

The Problem

The issues unpacked

Compensation swallowed up by lawyers’ and funders’ fees

Congested courts

Economic damage to businesses

We care about CONSUMERS

Giving access to justice for consumers, not prioritising profits for lawyers and funders, is at the heart of our approach.

WHAT WE WANT TO DO

Learn more about what our campaign is trying to achieve for consumers, businesses and the country.

Protecting Consumers

Consumers shouldn’t have to deal with lawyers and funders taking the lion’s share of damages.

Protecting businesses

Businesses shouldn’t have to spend more on lawyers at the expense of investment, innovation and jobs.

Protecting Britain

The British civil justice system should retain the fairness on which it was built.
